Where to ride

Marin Trail

The Marin Trail is a proper mountain bike trail in every sense of the term. Big climbs, big descents, brilliant singletrack and truly awesome scenery make this a trail to remember. Most, but not all, of the climbs are on forest roads and tracks giving you time to take in the views of the mountains of snowdonia, and all of the descents are on the sweetest singletrack. The singletack varies from very tight, technical and rocky to wonderfully open and flowing, from dark forest to exposed ridgelines.

Penmachno

The Penmachno Trail is a challenging trail with some steady climbs taking in some more spectacular scenery. The trail uses plenty of forest roads but also includes some decent singletrack incorporating bridge crossings, elevated wooden sections (not North Shore) and stream crossings.

Coed-y-Brenin

Forestry Commission Wales’ mountain bike Mecca, Coed-y-Brenin forest is home to an ever increasing network of fantastic handbuilt all weather singletrack including the newly refurbished ‘Falseteeth’ incorporating the biggest feature in the forest, ‘The Cavity’ drop in and get spat out over the exit with as much style as you can muster!. The technical roller coaster riding will have you grinning like a fool, with stunning mountain views of surrounding Snowdonia that’ll take your breath away
